Take a moment to sign up for snowleopard.org's enews to help raise money for the the Snow Leopard Trust's found raiser. For every subscriber they get the Kearsley Fund will donate $2, and it costs you nothing to subscribe.

They are close to their goal of raising $6000, they just need another couple hundred people. A lot of other people from dA have already supported this drive and it is always great to see the community come together to support a worthy cause like this. You can make a difference and help them reach their goal, if you haven't yet please do'.

Resurgere on Twitter;

Like a lot of other dA members, Resurgere is jumping on the Twitter wagon and set up our own page there.

We will mainly use it to feature some of our fav stock uses, featured stock and resources we see from other producers, and to retweet dA resource news that needs attention. If you have news you think we should RT let us know'.

We will also post whatever news from the team we need to get out there', and who knows what else in the future.

A couple thousand people a day pass by our dA userpage, and hence our twitter widget. But to really make good use of the platform to promote our features etc, we need an army of Followers! So join up.

Just an update to mention that ^snowmask is joining the team this week as our Public Relations Officer. Which means she will be in charge of answering your notes, comments, and the like from now on and that kind of makes her the new public face for Resurgere.

She will be putting her inexhaustible supply of energy into the exhausting task of reviewing and answering the many many hundreds of items coming into our message center every week. The problem being so daunting that until now we have never really managed to provide an adequate level of responsiveness, at the moment the message backlog is the worse it's ever been.

In light of the huge pile of unreviewed messages we finally decided to put someone specially in charge of PR, Katie is the perfect person to fill that role and we are stoked to have her on board

Well gift giving season is not far off, it's always a great excuse to give some much needed support to artists by buying their work and an excuse to share the art we love with the people we love. Buying that work from the dA store helps support the site we all love too, so it's win frick'n win baby.

`ArtistsForCharity is a project that gets far less attention then it deserves so Resurgere is bringing it up today. The profits from prints sold do not go to artists or dA, but rather to support a charity chosen by the Senior Member community each year. In past years donations were sent to UNICEF & Habitat For Humanity, this year the charity is The Autistic Self Advocacy Network. So it is a chance not only to give some good art but, also to contribute to a good cause.

If you are up to your eyeballs in credit card debt or for whatever other reasons can't buy a print, consider donating some of your artwork to be sold. A lot of Resurgere guests and members already donate work to the project, because we are generally a bunch of sweethearts [besides `wroth], a few samples of those are above. There are tons of other prints for sell there in a range of styles and media so hopefully you find something to buy or feel like joining in with a donation.

_{Over the years Resurgere has worked as a Team and built a strong brand and a wide fan base, becoming one of the major resource supplying accounts on D.A.. As a charity project the team has a responsibility to leverage it's reputation and audience in the best interests of all the artists at D.A., both resource consumers and resource producers. We have decided the way to meet the obligation to our community here is to distribute 'guest contributions' in addition to team member resources, so we started the Legion project. Making Resurgere more active and more diverse, offering the chance of participation to more people. Effectively, to change from a resource group to a resource movement.
